JAY JIKARE㊪ Doctype is just to check the version of html. Though it's not purely necessary. You can do the code without doctype in code editor but I think in laptop's main code maker it will not work you have to put doctype any how there. Hope this helps ✌️

No because DOCTYPE html tells that it is the content of HTML 5 You can try in your PC or Laptop to know more and explore more

Doctype just defines the document type i.e the specific document is HTML5.... ✨👨‍🏫 Please UPVOTE if possible...❣️ https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/438115/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/1388028/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/2519901/?ref=app

If you do not put <!DOCTYPE HTML> It will be no longer be html 5 it will become html 4

<!DOCTYPE html> is just simply a tag to tell the computer: I want my HTML file to be in HTML5!

nope

Just try once. You will get to know. Make a program without a doctype tag see the output, check if it works or not.

No html file will not work because <!DOCTYPE html> says that the file contents html code.

And remember that this is not a HTML tag, this is just a declaration to tell the browser that the documents to follow is in HTML5.

Yes. But The DOCTYPE declaration defines the document type to be HTML so it's very important.
