What's is the best programming language for cross-platform mobile development?

I've learnt web development and some of Java but I don't know if I should just continue with Java or I should switch to another programming language Which would be better for all platform. I need a programming language that is very ideal for Android, IOS, Desktop applications and I heard flutter will be good for that. How true is that please? Any contribution? Thanks in addy 😊
