How delete Python history on Windows 10

Question

My Python was originally broken, I found the Python installer still on my computer. I installed it for a fresh start, but after install, the issue was still there. How can I completely reset Python without it going back to my old setup.

As far as pycharm is considered. The icon you are seeing is nothing but just an shortcut of the original application. Not the original application itself. Just go ahead an delete it because it is useless as original application has been removed.

1) Navigate to Control Panel.
2) Click “Uninstall a program”, and a list of all the currently installed programs will display.
3) Select the Python version that you want to uninstall, then click the “Uninstall” button above the list – this has to be done for every Python version installed on the system.

It's also possible to execute the python3 installer again, you get option to repair or uninstall. Just choose uninstall, it will be done properly.

In the steps I mentioned, if you are unable to see the python in the list. Then congratulations you have got rid of python from your computer.

Go to File Explorer and click you computer files. Then, go to either Program Files or Program Files(x86). Then, delete the Python file. Then, there will still be python on your desktop. Delete it, its a shortcut.

Don't have a computer right now but you can check where you have stored your python (C: , D:). If it is there after uninstall then maybe delete it. I am not sure though.

Arsenic Thanks. I'm a bit confused, I'm not very good on command prompt, I'll mess it all up. I did a search on this PC for Python and I have a load of notepad files on config info. This wouldn't be an issue, but I have Thonny installed, that has Python automatically. I don't want to get rid of the wrong one. I think I'll leave it.

I did. I uninstalled Python 32bit and Python launcher. But if I go to downloads, I still have the Python installer. I clicked "delete" and it vanished. I can't tell if I got rid of it
Also, I uninstalled Pycharm, but I get still see the app. It has no icon and gives and error when you open it. But it's still on my computer
This is why I hate Python. No other language has been this awful to deal with.
