To learn animation, it is not necessary to learn programming.
You can learn animation on a free 3d software known as blender.
On blender you can make 3d animation, 2d animation, VFX, video editing and modeling.
There are many tutorials available on YouTube related to blender.
You should try it once because I have personally used it and it is amazing.
Blender is open source hence it is free.
