What is int? Can somebody explain me?

1.Int is actually an integer number (i.e.whole no. which does not include decimal values) 2.Int is a primitive data type in java ,c++ etc programming languages type is of 32 bit (means it takes 32 bit to store a number in memory) is basically a data type to store a value in a variable


Tag the language also, in which you need.. And add a code snippet in which you have doubt.. If you want in python in this statement N=int(input()) input takes as string type in value so should casted to needed type.. There int just cast your input to equivalent integer type... @Tann Sharma Do not assume that int is 32-bit. It is not defined as such in the language specifcation and it does vary with different compilers.
