How to make figures slide in from four corners in css animation?

Question

I am new to Css and just started learning animation . In the code below i want the four figures to slide inside from the four sides. They do but the ones on the right hand side do not seem so smooth. And if i try to increase the to -,width pixels, they go further to left which ruins things. I simply want those four figs to come in from four corners. Please help.
