1.visual studio code -it's completely free by Ms and u can download it on Linux also 2.atom it's completely free from github 3.sublime text editor - it's not for free it shows a pop up message to purchase it everytime 4.Notepad ++ - it's for free I am useing atom it's nice u can run python directly from there for that u should install some package from it .There is many package like autosave u should install it on ur need .

You can use Sublime text. It serves almost all the purposes and is extremely light and fast.

Sublime: Quick and streamlined editing mainly for pulling up files to do quick changes or working with small projects. Not really for major development. Usually what you have along side main IDEs as just the quick program and lookup tool. Visual Studio Code: If you can’t afford JetBrains IDEs, this is the closest you can get (just barely not and IDE still a text editor) and slightly slower because Electron, but that’s what comes with more power in development.
