Isn't it weird to make decisions by looking others perspective.
You own have to make decisions for yourself. I learned java several years ago cause it's a best and quite famous for that time, but now python has overtaken the java. Maybe python will also replaced by another launguage in future. So choose the right path in the bases of your needs.
