There is no relation between any language. Every programming language are independent. You can learn Java without C C without C++ C without Java C++ without Java Python without C Python without C++ Python without c# Python without Java C without C# C++ without C# because their syntax are different, ways of working are different, compliers are different.

AJ Anant and Oreoluwa Adeleye Thanks for your Answers to the question. I would recommend you both regarding your discussion over "Php being a programing language or not ",may you both Kindly Discuss this elsewhere has this is getting off-topic regarding the question and the user asking question will be getting unnecessary notifications. Happy Coding 🙂

Oreoluwa Adeleye I am talking about Programming Language not about CSS or HTML and PHP. CSS is not Language HTML is not Programming Language. PHP is scripting language. JavaScript is also scripting language. One more thing Html is also not depend on CSS. We can make Html page without CSS also. But difference is that we will not see look and feel. PHP is also not depend on html or CSS. We can write code in PHP without CSS also.

Ketan [#Be Happy 😄] Agree. Actually I don't wanted to go on discussion. I just gave simple answer that there is no relation between programming. Anyway I am leaving here.

In my opinion, you can learn Python beginner courses without the knowledge of c++. Because when I started learn python I don t have the knowledge of c,c++,c# For beginning only. After that I think you need to learn more languages to proceed. But I recommend you to learn c++ or c# It can help you in future.

Oreoluwa Adeleye Out of 100 if few people say that JavaScript and PHP is Programming Language then it's not. Btw we can do big discussion on this topic but let leave it because asker already got the answer.

I never said PHP and JavaScript are not scripting languages. They are since they are interpreted. But what I am saying is scripting languages like Ruby, Python, JavaScript and PHP are a subset of programming languages. The word programming language is a broad term. I have never really heard anyone argue that python(a scripting language) is not a programming language. Why is it only web based languages that are considered to not be. It is absurd.

Oreoluwa Adeleye I don't believe on wikipedia. Most of the content on this site is not well proof according to a survey. Anyone can add content on this site. So leave discussion here.

Advait Trivedi Frankly speaking if you want to learn python you don't require any pre-knowledge. Its totally different from c++. Syntax are different. In python you have the least syntax. As it is open source language, so it has a huge library functions.

AJ Anant I disagree. Some languages are not completely independent like CSS or even PHP.
