Where are you downloading it from? What are the error messages?
How much memory and which CPU does your computer have? Also, are you trying to run a python file?
Sao Paulo Odhiambo That sounds like a problem for Windows 8. It's most likely not compatible.
Pycharm is a completely seperate program, I dont remember if it includes Python rodwynnejones
What could I do then?
? Does pycharm rely on python from 'python.org' to work or is a completely separate program? if it doesn't, try pycharm then.
Sao Paulo Odhiambo You might have to install Python as well. But I can't remember since I have only installed it once 😞
The pop up is," this up can't run on your PC to find a version for your PC ,check with the software publisher"
have you try the x86 version ?
the only other reason i can think of is your os. could be missing updates or the installation itself.
Well,I update the version weekly
Thank you so much for your advices,I will try pycharm then
i thought win 8 user get free update to win 8.1 ?
rodwynnejones no, thats an IDE it still rely on python installation
whats the complete error ?
RAM 2Gb 2.16Ghs
The error is that I successfully download the file, but,it does not install at all
i mean the error message, what part is "not supported" ?
my wild guess is the computer architecture, 64bit program in 32bit enviroment. but as i said its a wild guess.
you have program files (x86) ?
hmm.. back to previous question, whats the full error message
LeCorps, does it mean that I can go ahead and download it and learn?
