Personally, I went with Java. It's a good language to learn that isn't too difficult and also allows for a good understanding of programming concepts like object oriented programming. However, python may also be a good choice. If you're into web development, HTML, javascript , CSS may be a good choice too.

Basically BASIC is the best basis, to build the logic of programming. Then you'll be forced to move to more effective languages depending on what you need to be doing. Good luck with your endeavor en welcome to the programming family 😆

In the link was asked for a coding language. HTML is anyways a good language for beginners who'd want to learn web developing. Anyways I think it is just a myth that HTML is not a programming language, because an experienced programmer told it is and because I can't prove that HTML is not a programming language.

I'd say any coding languages related to Website Development such as HTML, CSS and Javascript are the easiest languages. Then there's also Python which is mostly for Machine Learning, but it's relatively easy as well. I won't prefer C++ for beginners though, because the syntax is very complex. All-though the best way to go is to do research on every single language and then see which one you like. If you're truly passionate about a language and dedicated don't let the difficulty scare you. Go for it. You'll get the hang of it eventually. It's not impossible to learn or rocket science, you just need enough passion, commitment and dedication and you'll achieve and/or learn anything.
