Load different contents after click event

Question

i have a website and i want to modify it's download page as the download button show but when someone clicks on it then different contents show on page after load page on same page and same url now the button download show again but now this time this button have file download link and if click on it file Download start. i sow it on a Website. is there any ideas where to start.
