Will SL purge old OFF-TOPIC posts?

Question

Just wondering what is the value in keeping posts such as "I am platinum now!" in the database. I was trying to look for the "Let's stay safe together" thread but had a hard time due to all the noise in the system.

Search 'Safe' sorted by "Most Popular"

There was something that was supposed to give mods the ability to move them to your feed. But so far nothing has happened--I guess busy with other big stuff.

If it gets done then they should be moved, later.
