Does anyone know if Huawei's new operating system is based on Android or Unix?

Huawei EMUI is a custom mobile operating system that is based on Android that Huawei uses on most Huawei and Honor-branded smartphone devices. It's Android. I've never seen any phones in this world run on Unix.


Nup. Latest I heard is the US backed down on the ban on US firms selling tech to Huawei. So my guess is Android, but who knows. They might roll their own as a contingency plan as tensions are still high at present and maybe for the foreseeable future.

It think that till now there is not a new OS for Huawei EUA give them 3 months to get out his stuffs
