Look for a problem you encounter on your daily life. It may not be immediately obvious that it actually is a problem: it may just be something you could automate to save yourself time. After recognizing the problem at hand, try to sketch a solution you would like to have. Don't be afraid that you have no idea how to implement it, this is how most projects start. Write down some stuff which you get a sense that must be done to get to the solution. After all that, it is time to get your hands dirty (and I mean DIRTY). Be prepared to fail, to write spaghetti code which you are not proud of, to get frustrated when you get stuck, to get angry at yourself for not knowing stuff. This is all part of it, and if you experience that, then you are on the right track. Just keep it going, and (hopefully) you will get there. Think like this: you have 0% chance of succeeding if you never try, but as long as you keep trying there is a non-zero chance of success. You'll learn things that no tutorial anywhere can teach you.

Every time you get bored, I suggest you to do something else for a while... And when you come back again, coding seems like your best friend. Taking a break enables you to see the problem in a different angle with a whole new light... And you certainly have the potential, or you won't have come back ☺️☺️👍💪

If you enjoy programming and you find youself getting bored with one language switch to another. They're all basically the same when it comes to logic. Sure there was some differences but they there are more similarities than there are differences for the most part. You can stay engaged you'll just be learning changes in syntax while acquiring basic knowledge of the different languages. but more than that you'll gain a through working understanding of the logic behind all languages.

Some project examples I took from the top of my head: Scrape the web looking for cheap flights/hotel rooms in a location (do this to any service you might need, actually). Scrape the web for weather data of your city and send it to your personal e-mail. Then program it so it does that every day or every 12 hours. Do a simple game. Remember those old arcade games you used to play? Why not do it yourself? Games will teach you valuable lessons on OOP and GUI. Learn to interact with databases. Ever wanted to know how large quantities of data are stored by big companies and data warehouses? Then start small with learning SQL and build your knowledge from there.

All I can say is that if you can't sit still and do nothing, sit still and do programming.

Interest and love are two different parts of human life. Human brain gets attracted towards any thing by its external aspects without any deep concepts about the thing. It is universal for all the things including daily life but the other is love, quite different. If u r interested towards things and later get boored it's definitely not your love it's like fashion or trends. If you get in love with things you can never get boored of it. (May be tired not considering here). But if it's not your love no inspiration or motivational speech can do the work for you, it is just a temporary thrust towards that work. Remember one thing ever ' Do what you love.' This will help you in future

Hi Yes sometimes coding can be difficult, stressful, boring and you might want to quit but coding is supposed to be difficult: it should make your brain work and takes your creativity, it is supposed to be boring:takes a lot of time with little progress and it is supposed to be stressful :probably the combination of these two and some failure added into it😄😄😄 but you shouldn't code for fun no you should code for the fun it's results bring, for the competition I mean if you want to make something great you should know that it's going to take all you've got.so my advice is understand what you're project is ,what you want from it,why you're doing it ,how bad you want it I mean if you don't want it that bad what you're doing is just making your self hate coding and waiting precious time so just have some friends to compete with people who challenge you and just code. And posting your code on this app might be useful cuz getting likes and badges feels good (I think)(it seriously brings me a lot of joy🙂🙂🙂)

Try to focus more on your programming plans and whenever you feel like you need it, just take a break, do something different, but never forget that you actually love coding.

It's not necessary you should always focus on one thing every time, you can do anything reproductive at a given time that interests you. Its like studying different subjects in high school, you should study that subject which you feel like studying for that point of time and not according to some pre-planned schedule or will. Be dynamic to your interests, it will help in all round personality development. Go with the flow!

I have a lot of things am interested in,but I never do. Along the way I have learnt that there is a very great difference, between our hobbies and habits. A hobby is something you like to do. A habit is what you are used to do. Human beings are more accustomed to what they usually do(their habits) than what they love to do. Create a programming routine. On the contrary,I also find programming more interesting when I try solving real life problems, forexample designing applications, making Bots, controling hardware and stuff like that.

if you are a beginner to coding things like this will definitely happen and you will surely want to quite, but if you find it hard to quite, then you definitely need to code. but the problem is how do you go about this, i read few comments by lots of users, that will surely keep you going, which i think you can resist if you want to, that depend on you, but i will advice you to get a mentor on sololearn depending on the language you want to write with, let the mentor know s/he need to be intense on you and try to keep you on a race making sure you solve every problem yourself with just giving you clue to how to solve it, when you get a mentor like this you need an intention to want to impress him too, and he will only like your code which is the project you are on if and only if you are getting it right, you will definitely be frustrated when you get stuck with some problem, thats when you need a chit chat with your mentor just to keep your sanity in check (dont mind that, i do use that for myself when i get stuck and pissed), and always be free to your mentor and explain every little things you dont get to your mentor, and i hope that mentor can give you things with simplicity. but believe me learn things the hard way is interesting, you will learn to survive in any circumstances you find yourself, i hope you find the right mentor and the drive to code always, just try learn a thing everyday take the baby step it all matters alot, and let criticism be your strength have a happy coding journey there friend.
