New Answer** symbol is used for exponention in python also so as 3**4 mean 3^4 =81 2**5 means 2^5=32
** operator is used to raise a given number to a given power. So, 2**2 is 2², which is 2 × 2 = 4 Similarly, 4**3 is 4³, which is 4 × 4 × 4 = 64. So, here 2**5 means 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 = 32
I am old, and math was a long time ago. So i am kind of a dummy in math now. Could you explain, in the most basic terms the ** and ^ to me. Like how a number is to the "power" of a number. The definition of this in the most "elementry" way. Thanks.
