Ok James. From what I understand so far, Lynis and RKHunter are two options for Linux virus scanning. It's important to note that Linux systems generally have less vulnerabilities than Windows. And virus scanners for Linux scan for existing threats rather than run in the background monitoring live actions as in antivirus software for Windows.
