JavaScript, Java, PHP, or... ??

Which one is better for creating web as companion of HTML5 and CSS3 and mySQL - as its database?
Is it:
> Javascript?
> Java?
> PHP?
> or any others?

if you're wanting to learn web development, JavaScript is essential :)

The front end big three HTML, CSS, JavaScript. The rest is more back end, PHP and Java, looking forward to get to those aswell! :)

If you’re working with MySql database, you need some backend coding like php.
