Is confirm box having parameters and what it does?

confirm is only a box that lets the user click with Okay or Cancel. For example, if someone is writing a blog, and they click publish, there would be a confirm box to see if they want to publish it, yes or no. Yes would mean clicking the Okay, and cancel would mean No.
