Python IDE for Linux

Hi , I am gonna start Python from this week. I wanted to know which IDE would be good for a beginner for Linux Ubuntu 17.04 version

The JetBrains PyCharm is the best one for all platforms. Good Lucky. :)


If you can follow instructions to get it running, Vim. It is all I use on linux for any language from the C stack. While not an ide and a real pain in the ass to get going, having access to command line while working is huge. I am likely to be the only one to say this and a lot of people will argue against it. If you can figure out how to set it up and do not want to use it with java...VIM on *nix
