I suggest looking into hosting a website on github its a cheap option i've spent 99cent total on mine. the real money goes into where the website is hosted not the domain. Github pages is free
It will cost $10-18 for a .com domain. There are cheaper domains too. I've found Znetlive ( http://goo.gl/3CROgs ) to be the cheapest domain name provider considering these features: 1. They provide free privacy protection which costs around $10/yr with other domain name providers. 2. Their renewal rates are cheaper. GoDaddy and other popular domain name providers have high renewal rates, which is often unnoticed at the time of purchase. 3. They support subdomains even without a hosting plan. GoDaddy doesn't support it. Presently I have 4 domains registered at ZNetlive.
just Google it.
