Is there any language that has shapes that can be coded less complicated than HTML5 ?

I just started learning HTML5 and I got to this canvas and drawing part which was kinda like geometry which I totally suck at.
I want to know if there is an easier way of coding a square,rectangle(any shape) like another language except HTML.

There are 2 Programming languages called Processing & P5.js.
Processing is Java simplified.
P5.js is JavaScript simplified.
The two are really similar.
They are aimed specifically for Creating Art with Code.
Basically Creative Coding and animations to even games!
It is really easy that to Make a rectangle. You type only:
rect(x, y, width, height)
