Machine language to high-level language

Question

I heard machine language is comprise of 10010011 like this format, and can only be understood by computer or say machine only , then how we created a high-level language which exactly converted the set of codes given by us to machine language to have our work, I a way how compiler I set to produce machine code,

one can understand the machine language patterns but it is very difficult so to overcome this difficulty HHL is made.
soo i mean to say that computers are made by humans not humans by computers.
