Mohamed , how to start coding - development before starting your learning journey, you may spend some time thinking about what you want to achieve. > if you are interested in `web development`, you could start with the tutorial *web development*. it is a compilation of some other tutorials: *introduction to html*, *introduction to css*, *introduction to javascript*. > if you are interested in app development, you can try *java, c, c# or c++*. just use the *introduction to ...* of the mentioned courses. > if you are not sure where to start but you wanted to get the basics of coding, you can start with the tutorial *introduction to python*. >> at sololearn, we are all self-learners and grow through self-paced learning and a helpful community that shares knowledge and assistance.

welcome onboard! you are on a right place to master the basics of some programming/scripting language! if you already know what would you like to build (as tagged: oop + api), then choose the right language for you. hint: one of the easiest and widely used, multi-purpose language is python, and it fits all you have tagged. (api -> FastAPI, but you have other choices as well, for instance DjangoRestFramework, Flask) for backend you don't really need frontend skills, but good to have (for these you will need web development skills, as mentioned by @Lothar)

What type of games are you researching and is the language or languages you are wanting to learn compatible to the development of the game design process. Just saying game development has a very huge field and various languages have frameworks and game engines for creativity.

Mohamed, one of my friends creates Roblox games. The coding language is LUA (i think thats how you spell it). But you don’t actually need code for all of the features in the map/game you are creating.

Hey Mohamed—no worries at all, you're in the right place! A great first step is figuring out what kind of projects excite you: web apps? Desktop tools? Games? Once you have that in mind, you can choose a beginner-friendly path: try the “Web Development” tutorial for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; if you're leaning toward building apps or backend stuff, check out the “Introduction to Python” or the beginner Java, C#, or C++ courses SoloLearn . The Sololearn community is super friendly and always here to help—just take it one lesson at a time, and you'll be coding before you know it

You are in the right place. Start Tech for Everyone, then Coding Foundations after that you can choose any course that you want to learn according to your needs. Best of luck. Happy learning.

Hey! Don’t worry, we all start somewhere. A good way to get help is to post your question with details about what you’re trying to do, and people will usually guide you step by step. Also, exploring beginner-friendly courses can make a big difference. I’ve found that keeping track of progress and learning paths in tools like Phonexa helps me organize tasks and follow up on responses efficiently, which could be handy when you’re juggling multiple coding questions.
