Between SVG and Canvas, which is the better to draw on?

SVG is for vector graphics, think icons, or graphs, data visualization.

Canvas is for pixel graphics, think photos.

Canvas is more flexible, svg has the advantage that you can zoom into the image as much as you like without losing quality.
