Never heard of a compiler for a Markup Language.

You have not compilers for html. You just write code in anything, notepad if you want, and open it in browser.

I'm personally using Adobe Brackets, it's free program just for code editing.
And checking page with browsers directly as don't every browser acts same on every command and style.
