I just started learning rust and the documentation is not the easiest thing to comprehend as this is my first systems language. Can someone tell me how to recommend a course or even better point me in the direction of some good resources, thanks in advance.

How to recommend? I think what you're trying to say is "can someone recommend me a better course." In which case, you definitely should Google that. As someone choosing to be a developer/programmer you will be using Google a lot. I'm sure if you Google "learn Rust course" you'd find your answer.
