Flopoy disk is the father of the rubber ducky. A silly prank at the time consisted in melting safety match heads in acetone and spreading the putty on the physical disc of the floppy to dry. once reassembled, the floppy would go on fire when inserted in the floppy reader.

i wish that floppy disks didn't have plastic black plates for storing code, because they get wrecked the first time you touch that part of the floppy.

Floppy disks are actually used by the goverment, and other top secret facilities, because they cant be HACKED. Because they dont use networks or any thing that makes everyday things hackable. Nowdays they are still used to keep top classified information out from the public.

Henry Arch Why can't they be hacked? You could extract data remotely just as easily as with a CD.
