Machine Learning using Python

Question

I want to use Python for Machine learning. What will be your suggestion to get started.

Basically I am from mechanical background. I don't know much about AI. Wants to design some real world applications using ML.

Lear NumPy, Pandas and scikit-learn. There is a book called "Python Machine Learning" from Packt Publications, that would really be useful.
