How about a programming applications course?

Question

Everything seems to be headed towards analysis of big data. I am not sure what is the best next step. I heard about R, swift, etc. but what is next? I am confused. Sololearn is great to get up to speed and learn the basics of programming. Any suggestions? I am interested in neural nets, SVMs but would like to see more application.
