Are you language oriented ?

I have seen many programmers quarreling and arguing for the languages as best. What do you think about languages ? Does it even matter ?

No much, languages are only tools to solve problems

you can try one of two paths

1) master in only one language

2) known as many languages as you can

both have pros and cons

in case 1) you can be obsessed or you are too lazy to learn another

or you really need to master it

in case 2) you can be a generalist no expert in any language

or you have a lot of knowledge

I have learned cpp to a good extent. later on I just looked at keywords of languages and basic functions of the languages. And then I look some projects, they gives you enough knowledge to code in any language for moderate tasks. though it have some efficiency issue. I have learned c#, python, java, php in this way. I have worked on web apps, devloped simple running game through c# unity, Android app development, Data migration script and a YouTube downloader in command-line through python.
