If MS here really means Microsoft then language of choice is C#... Oh, but I see JS, PHP and C are mentioned here. Strange. Not PHP 'cause server-side Microsoft-way is ASP.net (C#) usually. Not C if you are not so deep into OS "mechanix" (kernel, drivers, etc)... JS is o'key, but it is not most powerfull weapon in Microsoft. But if you like it then go for it!
