Why don't android have terminal ?

Question

As far ,I know ,we have to install termux (terminal emulator from external sources) to launch terminal [ though not created by Google but bye app developers ] but why don't Google adds a terminal application on Android... During this era android phones have great power....Why don't they... as android is also a modified distribution of Linux kernel... It can also carry all those features that other Linux distributions have ?

Probably because a user might try "sudo rm -rf /" or something? Or maybe that's not allowed.

Martin Taylor I suppose it makes sense if Google doesn't think of Android as a general purpose OS and only as a mobile one running a limited number of Apps in the most general use case as Jan Markus hinted.

Why would anyone need both facebook and instagram? Do they have multiple personalities with a generation gap?

Android has some limitations. It is very hard to learn programming with an android.
