Confused

Question

I want to be a software developer. Currently im in college :) but I want to freelace using wordpress meanwhile I finish my degree. Im not sure if this is a good strategy. What should I do? What about you?

Learn some basics in HTML, CSS and JavaScript which would take upto 3 to 4 weeks and start developing few basic websites. Which will be a great start for your freelancing
