How much salary programmer?

I see you are Indonesian, like me. So I'll tell you the programmer salary in Indonesia.

Most of research usually tells that programmer has a huge salary (probably more than US$ 50k annually)

But I'll tell you something, you will not find kind of that much salary in Indonesia.

The average is about $350 monthly (and even less! most fresh graduate only get arround $100-$150 montly) Yeah, the programmers didn't get much. Even if you have a lot of experiences (let's say >10 years), probably your salary is just $500-$700.

Probably this is why some programmers left their coding world and start career as a civil servant or anything else.

My suggestion is... be an indie developer! Why would you waste a month for $150 (assuming you are a fresh graduate) while you can make more money by doing your own project?

Or... why don't you make your own online courses? This is why they made Udemy and Adsense for YouTube.

There is a lot way to make money😉
