What is a challenge in solo_learn?

I already learnt couple of progrmming languages but when i press challenges it only pop up to choose javascript or c++. Since im not too familiar with those im hesitate to start one. Is this normal? What is a challenge?

it is kind of programming game to test your skills and opponent is also someone like you. you can challenge someone random or chose from a list displayed. there will be 5 questions and whoever scores best is a winner. recently they have added draw in case if both players have same score. points get credited to winner.

you can select JavaScript amnd c++ only. might be in future we can have multiple languages
