is c++ is important to learn any other languages

Over here, C++ is the starter pack for CS degree pursuers, because lots of aspects of programming are explicit towards the programmer in the language. This makes it somewhat harder to learn, but more convenient for learners to grasp various concepts of programming.

Learning C++ is one thing, having the knowledge of C++ is another. I would say, having the basic knowledge of C++ before you take up on any complex (or Object Oriented Programming language) will be an advantage.
