Is the Coding Certificate Worth it??

Is getting the certificate worth while? I’m trying to learn code and I’m wondering if I take this app “seriously” would I become a “skilled coder” by then? if I do complete every lesson? Will I have a decent knowledge at least about coding for future classes. I’m js trying to learn Idrc about the certificate just wondering if it’s worth the study.

No, not really. Certificate does not substitute actual education. No one is going to hire u based on it. In reality certificate might hold some value, but its negligible. As for the knowledge u gain, u will be beginner level once u finish the course (Including intermidiate courses). Sololearn only teaches you syntax, not actual programming, which is nowhere near enough to be a "skilled coder". Sololearn is a good place to start, but by no means is the final destination.

Well, Sebastian Vasquez, unfortunately the Sololearn certificate has not much value, actually. Sololearn, as Aleksei Radchenkov said, is a good place to start but you need to go a long way to become a qualified and skilled coder. If you haven't already noticed, Sololearn has less than even half the information provided in sites like W3Schools, GeeksForGeeks, docs.python etc. On the other hand, better courses and more valuable(?) certificates are provided by sites like UDemy, Coursera, IBM Training etc. You might also want to join Hackathons to upgrade yourself.

Yes it is invaluable for fresher and not important for experienced professional although it helps climbing the ladder 🪜😁
