if nums [3] = nums [1], then nums [1] = nums [3], therefore the output will not be 2, but 4. Why then output 2?

Second: what's the difference nums = [1,2,3,4,5,6] Between? >> nums = nums[-3:] + nums[:-3] || nums[:] = nums[-3:] + nums[:-3]

Why this code runs?:

msg = "Numbers: {} {}". format(nums[0], nums[1], nums[2])
print(msg)
Numbers:4, 5.
Byt the code:
nums = [4, 5, 6]

It says the answer is 4, but if nums=list (range (5))
then if I print (nums) I should see 0,1,2,3,4. and if I then print nums but indexing 4 it should be printing 3. what am I missing?

I dont unserstand the output if this code :
# string formatting
nums = [4, 5, 6]
msg = "Numbers: {0} {0} {2}". format(nums[0], nums[1], nums[2])
print(msg)
4 4 6
but when I do :
# string formatting
nums = [4, 5, 6]
msg = "Numbers: {0} {0} {2}". format(nums[1], nums[1], nums[2])
print(msg)
it gives me
5 5 6
is there a priority in the Reading ?
