Should I major in Network Technology or Computer Science?

I would like to work in the Cyber Security field (even though I sucked at math) and I am now applying to colleges and I am not sure for which major a should be applying.

First off, stop labeling yourself as the person that "sucked at math." That's a dangerous thing to do and then constantly recite to yourself, as it hinders your desire and ability to do what's necessary to make math one of your strengths. Focus on making math one of your strengths, and yes, you'll have to work your ass off and harder than the people who are naturally good at it; make that choice to do it. Many colleges have programs that are designed around cyber security, so I'd go with that option if it's available. If it's not available to you, then I'd probably start with Computer Science first, and then move into cyber security. Cyber security is something that requires you to know all of the above; if you don't understand networks, how can you protect them? If you don't understand computers and software, how can you protect them? The reality is that you need to know the same things that the hackers know or else how will you even recognize their methods or protect against it? Just like war, if an army shows up with guns, you don't show up with sandwiches, you show up with bigger guns.
