Which technology should i choose if i am a beginner in web development. Nodejs or php?

I'm a newbiee in web development. I am confused to take a decision which way should I go? i hava basic knowledge in php and nodejs. both are popular backend web programing languages. so I am confused by these two. which is become more good to learn for a beginner?

If you want to get a job real fast, go for php.
If you have aims for the future, go for Node as JavaScript is taking over the web.

With JavaScript you can do everything.
Front-End & Back-end.
I use PHP only when I'm working with WordPress.
