What can you do using the RaspberryPI?

I know that the RaspberryPI can be used for programming a robot, but what else can you do with it?

I configured a RaspberryPi to act as a Graylog2 (open source) logging server...then configured workstations, services (like SSH, etc) and firewalls to forward their events. http://docs.graylog.org/en/2.2/pages/dashboards.html It's easy to underestimate the value of centralized logging--until you realize how valuable it is to correlate events...and just how many things (firewalls, PC's, snort, etc) report better, structured data to log servers.

I use mine to emulate old video game consoles with RetroPi . . which is a an OS of pretty much just emulators. Oddly, raspian (an actual OS) for raspberry pi lead me to programming. it came with python, ruby, java, etc installed. I started tinkering as I always had an interest and here I am today with way more ability than I thought I would ever have

Lots of stuff...never used one so you might want to check with their website and maybe do a YouTube search but I've heard you can make servers, mini computers, cameras (micro, automatic, etc.) and whole lots more!
