Does learning streak not work on PC?

Question

I'm going through Python Core course, which i started a long time ago, then abandoned due to life circumstances. So, i'm working on lessons i already completed back then, logging in every day, and streak stays at 0. Does it maybe takes into account only days when a new lesson is learned, or it maybe works only on newer courses? I understand that Python Core course has been replaced by a newer one.

currently, the streak is only maintained by doing a lesson that one hasn't done before.
