im freshman in programming, I just want to know, how long will it takes to understand the code for me to develop personal apps.

I dont have any background in computer. I just need help, what PC should I buy and what is a good fresh knowledge can bring me up to make profit apps in the next future.

Maybe you could go Google any online tutorial like Android apps development that teach you fundamental about developing an app on Android that can function, however if you are talking about developing an app that can make profit, which in the same time the app sure must have robust, clean and maintainable code, I personally thinks that it will take a lot of practice, coding different program, improving yourself in coding.
The time it takes vary among people, just make sure that do a lot of practice, program, eventually you will have prepare yourself to make such a great app that can make profit.
