Can you make a complete website using the notepad text editor?

Sure. You can even do it with Nano and Vim. But it would be painful as hell. It's recommended to use something more advanced: VSCode, PhpStorm, Intellij IDEA and etc.

Switch to VS code/Atom/Sublime editor...and no one will tell you before you stop using notepad.

Absolutly! I do it all the time! Its less fuctional, but 100% doable

In theory yes, but you'll get really confused when the code gets larger.

I'm using Atom as it supports many languages and you can install add-ons for every programming language there is. But I'm not a web developer

Yeah, but the are other factors like highlighting, debugging and auto completion that makes a good text editor.

Vscode is the best. It makes typing alot easier and lots of things also
