Can i start learning nodejs with basic knowledge of JavaScript?

I'm php developer, and know basics of JavaScript.

Why not?! Just get started, check some resources on how to. then start coding. Javascript basics are good enough to start coding in it. only you may need to know commandline basics.(search how to and learn if you aren't familiar with the console)
