What OS should I use as a web developer?

looking toward getting a new computer, do I go with a Mac, a Hackintosh, Windows, or Linux? And if you say Linux, which distribution do you prefer?

Imho a dual boot of Windows and a Linux distro is the way. Windows is needed for Visual Studio for the ultimate ASP .NET IDE. A Linux distro (Linux Mint Cinnamon Edition in my case, which simplifies and automates a lot of stuff) is great for the rest; I found programming more comfortable with the Linux terminal.

Use the combo of Windows and Linux. Mac is useful if you code in Swift or Objective C to create for iPhone, iPad, Mac.
