Most of the work will be done for you by the IDE. Download the appropriate one for your target platform (Android / iOS) and after compiling the app, download it directly to your phone.

Depending on what you're trying to accomplish, your app may have to make API calls to various resources and you may have to add functionality to detect and launch other apps on the device.

My idea was basically just making a single app that could make the API calls to various other apps then display the data. I.e. user opens my app and is logged into Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube at the same time. User can then interact with and search for content across each platform simultaneously from one digital point of contact.
