Help me to understand this

I started to learn Python for Data Science course. So, there i learnt a standard deviation but I didn't get it. I understood the "mean" and "median" but not the "std". Can someone help me to understand it?

Well, i understood smth but didn't got how to calculate the mean for each number. Like.. the thing i know is that mean - is an avarage. (1 + 3 + 8 + 13 + 9) / 5 = 8.8 - that is "mean" but in examples we have 2 means. First one is about the number i described rn, second one - is a column of means for each number from example
