How long it will take to learn Unity ?

I have been given game project for my internship interview , i have no idea about unity , how long it will take to learn Unity to be able to make a simple game , the deadline is 07 of Feb

I made a simple 2d platformer game for my college project using Unity with C# after 2 months of learning and practice, I dont know you so its difficult to tell how long would you take. But it seems like you know Java and good news C# is somehow similar to Java so chances is that you will understand more quickly and easily.

Good news is that with such a good quality free youtube tutorials on unity, I think it won't take that long to make a simple game. (you can make a very simple game in a week following some tutorials).
You can get free game assets for your games(but don't forget to give credits) in the internet and this can help finish your game more early.

It depends on the complexity of the project.
There's a lot of stuff that goes into making videos games (especially multiplayer), I've been working on one for many months and it's no where near release date.

But for basic games, it shouldn't take to long at all. As RKK mentioned, there's lots of tutorials online, even from start to finish of a project.
Familiarizing yourself with Unity is what will actually take up most of your time.

I recommend joining Unity's official discord server, if you have any questions you can ask there.
Unity's Q&A forums is not as active, and will likely get much slower responses (if at all).
Also go through Unity's official tutorials from their website.

Keep to it, and you'll be okay!
